Meet Michelle

My Vision

I would love to have an impact on my small community by promoting healthy habits and an active lifestyle by offering group fitness classes and one on one personal training.

The main focus of my practice is flexibility, mobility and increasing longevity through primal movement conditioning and strength training.

I want to send a message to those who may be struggling: regardless of your age, weight, fitness level, location, situation…you can make your health & fitness goals a reality. All you have to do is START and good things will follow!

My name is Michelle Asselin. I’m a former registered nurse who has always had a lifelong dream of being fit, strong and healthy. I always secretly wanted to be a gym rat! While exploring this, I discovered how much I would like to help and inspire others who share the same goals I do! I started my fitness journey with kickboxing in February of 2022. In July 2022, I dipped my toes in Brazilian Jiu-JItsu (BJJ) and fell in love! I decided to make BJJ my focus and did my first competition in November of 2022. It was after my first competition that I decided to incorporate weight lifting into my life and have been riding that wave ever since. For the last 6+ years, I've focused on flexibility and practiced yoga; both self-directed and in studios. I’m a fun loving, patient and kind individual that wants to help others realize that it is NEVER too late to start and it is never too late to make changes to better yourself and your health.

The Environment

I promote and encourage an environment that is inclusive, non-judgemental and kind. It’s important that people enter the space with a positive attitude, and leave any negativity at the door. Many people need guidance on how to get started, some more than others. It’s OK if you’re in your 40s or 50s and have never been active, it’s OK that you can’t touch your toes or sit cross legged, it’s OK that you can’t go up a flight of stairs without being winded. It’s time to acknowledge it. It's time to start investing in yourself! Book a class, the first one is on me!
